CYBERTACOS had a successful “debut” in the Golden City, with more than 200 cybersecurity and media professionals attending the event during RSA in San Francisco.

On the first night of RSA week, more than 200 cybersecurity and media professionals gathered in San Francisco for CYBERTACOSTM, an event founded by W2 Communications and co-hosted with LaunchTech Communications.

Held at TRES SF, CYBERTACOS welcomed attendees to the City by The Bay with a media panel, networking and, of course, plenty of tacos! This was the second “Meet the Press” panel for the event, with the following influential national security reporters taking part:

  • Joe Uchill, Axios
  • Laura Hautala, CNET
  • Greg Otto, CyberScoop
  • Fahmida Rashid, Decipher
  • Salvador Rodriguez, Reuters
  • John Furrier, SiliconANGLE, theCUBE
  • Paul Roberts, The Security Ledger

Panel members shared best practices about how to communicate with media, trends they like to cover and the topics they seek out during RSA. The crowd enjoyed a night of networking with their peers, along with bottomless tacos and chips. Attendees continued to roll in to check out the scene, even within the last hour of the event.

Last night’s CYBERTACOS was sponsored by Alert Logic, Cushman & Wakefield, The CyberWire, King & UnionLogzilla, NS8NSS Labs, Silent Circle, SINET and, of course, W2 Communications and LaunchTech. Interested in sponsoring a future CYBERTACOS? Email cybertacos@w2comm.com
