Account Director Nicole Nolte to Educate PR Professionals on "Twitter Best Practices - the dos, don'ts, how to's and how not to's of Twitter for Public Relations"


Washington, DC, - August 17, 2009 - Welz & Weisel Communications, a strategic public relations firm focused on creating awareness and credibility campaigns for information technology companies, today announced that Nicole Nolte, Account Director, is speaking at the Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) August Professional Development Event on "Twitter Best Practices - the dos, don'ts, how to's and how not to's of Twitter for Public Relations." WWPR's primary goals are to provide professional development and networking opportunities to PR professionals and to help advance the profession.


Ms. Nolte is participating on the panel Thursday, August 27 from 12pm-2pm ET to discuss the use of Twitter for public relations professionals. In this session, the panelists will outline ways public relations professionals can enhance their following and engage with peers while leveraging for both professional and personal use. Other panelists include Shonali Burke, Principal at Shonali Burke Consulting, Debbie Friez, Vice President for BurrellesLuce, Daria Steigman with Steigman Communications and Kaitlyn Wilkins, Vice President, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
